I did it, I successfully baked the famous Del Sole shortbread cookie. It was nerve racking since the last time I made a shortbread cookie it was a complete disaster, see the samoa incident on facebook. There was a minor incident of throwing coconut into the icing instead of powdered sugar (the bag looked the same!) but other than that these went of without a hitch.
Pre-icing, each cookie was gingerly removed from the pan:
