Herb and Cheese Waffles

We recently got a waffle maker for the house and I must say I was quite excited to experiment.  After our first batch of plain ol' waffles, I was ready to let loose.  I made these savory herb and cheese waffles for dinner one night.

Here is the herb and cheese line-up.  I can't believe I didn't see the song reference here and add in some sage! Dammit!

I served these waffles up with some scrambled eggs and fruit.

What else can I do to a waffle?  I've got a box of Bisquik just waiting for me to use! Can I make some other wacky things in a waffle iron? Pinterest tells me I can make hash brown, cinnamon rolls, brownies....we'll see about all that.
